Fourth largest city in the entire Province of Quebec, Gatineau is part of National Capital Region of Canada and a neighboring city to the capital of Canada, Ottawa. With more than 3/4 of the entire population of the Outaouais region, Gatineau is the economic and cultural hub of the region. Home to some of the most important cultural institutions, such as the Canadian Museum of History, Gatineau is a vibrant city and close to nature. Gatineau can be reached via Highway 50 or 148 from Montreal, or by one of the five interprovincial bridges from Ottawa.
